ATSG is seeking resumes for a Program Manager at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in Richmond, Virginia to join the Account Management Provisioning System (AMPS).  AMPS is responsible for providing Identity Management (IDM) and provisioning throughout the Identity lifecycle for DLA systems and users using commercial off the shelf (COTS) software.
 
AMPS expands and supports OIM (Oracle Identity Management) AMPS as DLA’s IDM solution.  AMPS also supports OIM AMPS as the Defense Finance and Accounting (DFAS) Agency’s IDM and provisioning solution.
 
Responsibilities/The successful candidate will:
  • Leads projects that involved the successful management of teams composed of data processing and other information management professionals who have been involved in analysis, design, integration, testing, documenting, converting, extending, and implementing automated information and/or telecommunications systems.
  • Performs day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations.
  • Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities.
  • Demonstrates written and oral communication skills.
  • Establishes and alters corporate management structure to direct effective contract support activities.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Project or Program Management certification: must be from an accredited institution.  Substitutes for a Project or Program Management Certification such as training, degrees or relevant experience, will be considered and must clearly state how the credentials are equivalent to the certifications.  
  • 5 years of program management experience
  • 10 years of leadership experience in the public and/or private sector in IT and/or consulting fields
